The Mini Gold Project required students to draw and layout a minigolf course first on AutoCAD Engineering and then, using the current knowledge available, reflect that into SketchUp with a full course including props, ponds, an entryway, and realistic flora to give their 3D modeled golf course a realistic feel. I chose to add animals one would find in a safari, with a more savannah design with palms trees and light shrubs. I also chose to add a prices sign with discounts and values in dollars as seen in picture four. The first picture was a rough draft layout made in AutoCAD to give me a basic outline for how I wanted my golf course to look like. The second picture is an overhead view of the completed golf course on SketchUp with completed side road and ticket stand. The third photo is the frontal view of the gold course, showing off the flora added and the 3D effects of the holes.
