This assignment was given to test the student's ability to find a structure (specifically a skyscraper) that we could replicate using SketchUp using the current skills we now posses. I chose the Pirelli Tower in Milan, Italy to replicate. At first it was a challenge to get the correct shape base for the project, however, the rooftop was a good break from the complicate shape. The first picture is of the completed backside of the building without textures. The second picture is more profile view of the building highlighting the roof detail. The last picture at the bottom of the page is a ground view of the front of the building. Some of the windows are given glass panes to show off what it would look like if such texture were added to to the other windows.
