This project was a concept sketching and application of skills test. It gives the student a basic concept of what kind of doors they would put on a their beach house project (which was in progress at this time) by developing a 3D sketch on a 2D plane. Commands such as offset, and the basic drawing tool with set angle intervals were used to make the doors look more 3D on the 2D plane of AutoCAD. The doors met the standard 6' 8"x3' both in the SketchUp beach house an AutoCAD. On the right is the completed and blocked versions of the two door designs we were given as templates for our beach house project.
